NOT WORTH CONSUMING
I watched the first 10 minutes and got so bored I turned it off (which I never do.) I didn’t really feel like watching such a calm movie at the time, considering I was in a very bad mood. However, I find it unfair that I would judge a movie so harshly after only 10, at the most, 20 minutes of viewing. Therefore, I have decided that one day I will watch this movie again, the whole thing, then make my not-so-fair judgement again.

Amazingly enough, I stayed on and finished the entire thing. I snoozed the first 15 minutes (for a little bit), got shaken up by someone, &c. “Wot!? Oh…” realisation dawns that I’m in a theatre. Go on.
Refocus on the movie, fail, try, try one’s best to stay awake. Snooze for a second time. (Less snoring.) Heh.
This is a fair statement: There’s really nothing to be excited about in this one. Give me a screamer or a tearjearker, something. Just don’t give me two or so hours of nothing.

Falling asleep in the theatre (I think I just realized I really adore the spelling of the word theatre)? That must have felt terrible, like throwing money into a fire. Then again, I can see why if it was this movie!
It was beautiful visually I remember, perhaps that will keep me awake? Though for two hours…that’s pushing it.

With so much jade in one’s chi, it’ll have to be exceptional beauty. I tried a second time, with the help of a friend’s vcd – you gotta love Chinatown – but still, a snoozefest.
Theatre, theatre, theatre. There you go. (:
