I went to a convention, and in one of the ‘party-rooms’ at the hotel there was going to be a reading of one of Lovecraft’s stories. When the time came, this guy who looked like he walked straight out of one of those stories stood up and Recited Dagon Entirely From Memory. Yeah. A bit much. I like Lovecraft, but that was a bit much.

I think that his apperance would add to the mood of the story.
