i liked the whole look and feel of this, the directorial debut of michel gondry. the writing was..pretty good. for the most part. i guess i’ll wait to judge his writing abilities until i see the next script he writes. the characters were a little..i dont know. i just didnt really get into them that much. only in the last scene, with him on the bed, did i really feel compassion or emotion towards his character. and then it just kind of ended. i mean, it wasnt a bad ending, just really anticlimactic and vague. which, yea, i guess goes along with the overall story. kind of. but i came away from it feeling like i rather liked it.
