its not bad at all. i know i know, it would have been great if it was an amazing game and totally redefined the way the entire gaming community thinks about first-person shooters, but hopefully that’s what metroid will do. :)
for this game though, there are things it does great, and things it doesnt do great. but i hated the way people kept bashing it. its a good little game, an excellent introduction to what the wii is capable of doing for first-person shooters. sure, i put it down for a couple months, but i picked it back up. online play, yea, i know, again. sometimes the graphics looked like shit, sometimes they looked really good. the swordfighting can get repetitive, though it is still pretty fun.
i think this game just had too many really good ideas, and not enough time to get them all done. there’s a lot of good elements that, being a launch game, a lot of other games down the road can learn from and embellish upon.
and hey, now its only $30. just play it! its fun!
