So she made him turn around and that’s why he dies?!? If she wouldn’t have called him he would have lived. i thought that he wouldn’t get decapitated because he was ducking for the cell phone, not that he was going to blow up! Stupid ending.

agreed. I was enjoying the movie up til the stupid, stupid ending. There was absolutely no point of her going through all of this stuff if he was just going to die anyway. Derrr.

Who else is confused?
Just saw the movie and as much as the ending was predictable, can anyone explain to me why she answered the door when the cop came to tell her. Did she go back home and clean up because to me when the police come to my door and tell me that my mom was killed in a car accident I wasn’t as calm as she was. So I think that she went home and showered because she already knew that it was all suppose to happen. And maybe that is why the cop looked at her strangely and not just because he has seen her before. Any thoughts?

re: the sheriff
i also thought that it was odd that she would leave the crime scene and not be seen by the sheriff. At first i was wondering how she could live the same day twice, and then i realized that she doesn’t find out her husband is dead until the next day, and why did it take him so long to tell her? The town didn’t seem big enough for them to have too much crime to send an officer to her house the same day.

aaaaand, what about the fact that it was a huge firey reck in the middle of a still-in-use highway. i suppose they might not have been able to ID the body…so, why did she never bother to do something to prevent her daughter from getting hurt? And yes, i’d also like to know why she fled the scene and also why she would go see that psych after how he treated here in the future, or the dream or whatever was supposed to be going on. it seemed like she was moving through time, but the movie’s title suggests otherwise
