I’m liking the book so far, though I think it has more to do with the gimmick of the book than the writing.
This book has made me curious about Eugenides other work, so I’ll be reading Middlesex next.

Opposing opinion
While I was impressed with the writing, I just can’t give a thumbs up to a novel with so little dialogue. We’re talking about 230+ pages of seemingly endless narration here. I expected so much more based on the reviews.
