All Consuming

WORTH CONSUMING!

I bought this at the store cause of the name. I feel kind of misled by the name, cause it does NOT actually smell like Cinnabon baked cinnamon rolls! What a gyp.

Unfortunately, it tastes just like any other coffee, and is definitely not on par with “premium” brands. Jury is still out on this one, since I just bought it yesterday.

Good But Not Premium--

This is what I’d call a good coffee at a higher price than I’d like to pay for it. I was dissapointed in the lack of cinnamon flavor. I thought with a name like Cinnabon™, the coffee would be just really full of excellent taste like their cinnamon rolls and have that same aroma.

I will not dismiss it as unconsumable because it’s a good but not great choice and my opinion is just one of many. Just like some people really dig Vanilla Coke and I really like vanilla but think Coca-Cola should have about 1/3 much vanilla in it as it does. This may be great for people who like a hint of cinnamon, a decently put-together coffee who don’t mind paying the price.

If you’re really into lots of cinnamon roll taste, I guess you could add a sprinkle or two to the end product or just make your regular coffee more cinnamony by adding cinnamon sticks or pure cinnamon. I have a friend that “doctors” her regular coffee with cinnamon and swears by it. Think I’ll give it a try.

Downside: I wouldn’t call it premium. I fell for the “it has to taste and/or smell like real Cinnabons™” possibility… it just wasn’t there… felt a little cheated… so I can’t label it premium, especially for $8.

I had some family try it, got mixed reactions, females seemed to like it the most…

Upside: Good but not excellent coffee that one can drink without adding sugar easily… upon a couple of tries I seemed to get a decent caffeine buzz from it, not overly spiced or sweet… at best adequately rich and not bland.

and keep in mind cinnamon is very good for you in many ways
(the most well-researched reasons that I could find are that cinnamon appears to lower blood sugar, triclycerides and cholesterol and improves insulin function, and that cinnamon has been shown to be a powerful antimicrobial agent, one that has the ability to kill such common germs as E. coli and other harmful bacteria, ) and this may be one way to get it in you.
