Why I gave up consuming this — 5 years ago
WORTH CONSUMING!
I turned it off after the first fifteen minutes. I’ll watch it eventually, but I wasn’t prepared for it at the time…

whoajo
so what’s the point of this entry?
Perlle
The point is that one of the comment options is “why did you give up consuming this?”
I could ask why you would take the time to ask such a rude question…
whoajo
it wasnt a rude question…gosh, some people are so sensitive…
my point was u re not bringing anything into the discussion, that is u re not commenting on the movie….the movie itself didn’t put u off, u were just not prepared…no point in bringing it up
Perlle
I’m not being sensitive, just making a comment.
Interesting that you say I wasn’t adding anything to the discussion when you haven’t added anything to the discussion. Again, just an observation, not trying to be snippy.
The reason I put in that comment is so I would have a place holder to know how long between when I made my first and second attempt at the film.
There is more than one way for something to be valid after all.
Let’s just say we disagree on this one and move on.

Perlle, I don’t blame you. I don’t think I was prepared either for “Fear & Loathing…” the 1st time I watched it.
(This was back in the 90s., btw)
I think my reaction was “What the hell is this?!”
I didn’t appreciate the movie until a couple years ago. One of my friends loved it. I figured I should give it another chance.

Funny, I think I may have said the same thing the first time around. :)
This time around I went into it with a different mindset and that made a big difference.
Glad to know I wasn’t the only one…
