WORTH CONSUMING!
This movie really confused me. I was expecting some sort of historical drama like Braveheart considering that this year marks the 300th anniversary of the Act of Union that brought Scotland into the United Kingdom. With the exception of a bunch of graduating students jumping into a lake at the beginning of the movie, this film didn’t have much to do with Scotland at all.

I think that it is a serious entry, because the movie is set in Africa, not Scotland. It is about an African dictator and his Scottish doctor.

it’s either a serious entry or really ironic I guess… they explain the movie’s title in the story… further I’m not sure how someone even rented or bought a ticket for this without seeing some graphics that might have made one wonder about any connections to Scottish history – pretty much every poster or DVD case or anything I’ve seen has been covered with Forrest W. as Amin so …
