Dean is so inspiring. I mean, he may be crazy. He’s definitely an icon for all of us who try to go just a little farther every time we put our shoes on. On my long runs, when i start to get bored or tired, i merely think of Dean out there melting at Badwater, and my sore feet don’t seem so bad any more. Anyone who wants to know about taking an inocuous activity and making it huge, this is the book on it.
