WORTH CONSUMING!
Talked my 15-year old son into watching it with me last night. Took a bit of convincing, but he was hooked before the opening credits were done! Worth taking another look at this almost 30 year old movie!
and oooh! Peter Frampton was sooooooo cute!!!! I guess I said that out loud because my kids were laughing hysterically!

Maxwell and that Silver Hammer
Sorry, Frampton wasn’t my thing back in the day, but the Steve Martin as Dr. Maxwell Edison part is classic. Plus you have a very young Aerosmith and Earth, Wind and Fire to add to the mix.
It has been decades since I saw this, but I watched it enough times that it is burned into my memory in great detail. Might have to dig this up again.

Earth, Wind and Freakout!
I had a babystitter take me to this movie when I was ten and it totally freaked me out. I can’t say I’ve seen it more then 3-4 times, but I have a much better appreciation for it now.
It was a couple of years after the movie came out that I discovered my older brother’s LP of Frampton Comes Alive. That’s when the crush started…! And you’re right. Steve Martin’s roll is classic!
