Perhaps it was just me, but I had a really odd experience with this movie. I went expecting something really funny and instead found the film dreary and boring. I am NEVER bored. The only other movie I can think of that was really disappointing like this one was “Be Cool”. I would not watch this film again… it’s not dreadful, just not my preference (but it should of been because I typically find humor in dark comedy). Perhaps I simply missed some “artistic” drama angle the director was trying to convey, but I am not curious enough to rewatch on a video to even spend my time trying to find out. My feelings were “disappointment” for the lost change to see the film when it first came out and “regret” for the loss of 2 hours when I could have been out laughing under the stars someplace.
