A story about this — 3 years ago
I actually purchased this book a year ago but recently picked it up and started reading it again. Today I was reading a chapter about forgiveness. It really touched me and reminded me to let go of even the smallest of grudges! It stated that when you forgive, you are in effect letting yourself off the hook, because you are ultimately forgiving yourself. I remember reading long ago that the things that bother us most about others are the things we don’t see in ourselves~

Good stuff.....
the person I have the most difficult time forgiving is the one who blinks back at me, wide-eyed, in the mirror.
I can forgive all sorts of transgressions, grudges, what-have-you… but this one? Self forgiveness – is the most difficult of all for me.
Sounds like this one chapter, anyway, is most definitely worth reading.

Funny thing, forgiveness. Touchy subject. Deep. I notice, in self-observance, that I have no problem forgiving the greatest hurts awarded me by some of the people I’ve loved the best! Yet, I struggle daily with forgiving my own self for poor choices I’ve made that hurt me badly. Seems I need to read that book!
