A question I have about this — 3 years ago
WORTH CONSUMING!
I prefer this series in its original order. I realize that C. S. Lewis had said that he hadn’t meant it one way or the other, but in the original order (beginning with The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe) the series seems more like a myth.
Was wondering how others felt.

I certainly agree with you. Rearranging the story makes it feel much less mythical and a bit more like a dry historical. I liked getting the history from ‘The Magician’s Nephew’ and the interlude of ‘The Horse and His Boy’ in their original places.

I agree with you completely. ‘The Magician’s Nephew’ and ‘A Horse and His Boy’ needed to be in their original places to preserve the author’s intended feel.
