This album opened my eyes errr ears to headbanging rock. I used to be afraid of rock music for some crazy reason—that is until high school and I had the chance to listen to Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. Until then, I didn’t know that rock could be so…I don’t know…beautiful I guess. Thank you, Billy Corgan and the rest of the Smashing Pumpkins, for bringing alternative music into my life (and partly for being so damn pretty)!
