It’s a pleasant collection of essays about Ireland, alcohol addiction, shoes, growing up, buying a house, writing fiction, travelling, book tours, and the like. Keyes has written a number of semi chick-lit books, but serious ones, with themes like addiction. I read one, Rachel’s Holiday, and really enjoyed it. And I really enjoy these essays. And they filled an important gap when I couldn’t decide what to read.
