WORTH CONSUMING!
The Other Boelyn Girl is fascinating. This is my first truly enjoyable foray into historical fiction. Total page-turner, resulting in many late nights reading when I should have been sleeping. My only miniature complaint is that the subject material of the book probably isn’t interesting to a wide range of readers, making me less likely to get into a good conversation about this book.

If you now like historical fiction,
you should try reading “Here Be Dragons” by Sharon Kay Penman. I find her writing and research to be very good pertaining to the Kings of England during the Middle Ages. When I refer it to my friends, I compare it to the movie Titanic, because it’s got a historical setting, but you can relate to the feeling of the characters (Real and Fictional).
You may also like “The Family” by Puzo, it’s about the Roman Catholic church and what the author beleives to be the first organized crime family. He also wrote the Godfather trilogy. I hope you continue to like historical fiction… If you hear of any good books, let me know.
