A question I have about this — 5 years ago
What was the statistic about US cars not being allowed to sell in other countries because they don’t meet those countries’ emission standards?
I see this headline today:
GM’s China sales leap 47%
Besides the statistics, a lot of the facts about global warming were covered in high school geography class.

Re: the stats, if you ask over @ http://www.participate.net/ I’m sure people there will be able to give you some sources.
And remember GM China doesn’t make “US Cars”, what they’re saying is a car made in the states can’t be sold over seas I believe.
I think it’s a bit of a sad fact that a lot of the basics are covered in high school geography class and yet nothing is done about it… that’s part of the message of ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ – thus the ‘inconvenient’ part of the title… it’s too convenient to forget the truth and leave the challenge for future generations — if those generations will have a world left?
