WORTH CONSUMING!
my recipe:
1/2 cup rolled oats (NOT quick oats or instant)
~1 tablespoon brown sugar
some raisins
pinch of salt
1/2 tablespoon chunky peanut butter
1 cup water
combine ingredients in cereal bowl. microwave for one minute. stir, mushing up the peanut butter. microwave two more minutes. stir. let sit for 3 minutes. enjoy.
the little bit of peanut butter makes it rich and creamy. a few months ago, i started making myself oatmeal for breakfast every day, and it has made my mornings so much better.
(my microwave is really whimpy. to achieve similar results, it may be advisable to set your microwave’s power level to 50-70%.)
