A story about this — 3 years ago

The vampires were slightly darker in this book than I expected. It was a nice change. I get a little sick of fluffy euro-trash vampires (see LKH). I’m still not sold on the author, but I’ll probably pick up her next book before deciding if I like this series or not. It had some good points, but not enough for me to rave about it. The initial set up about the doctor being turned in the morgue seemed a little unoriginal (like Blade). However, from there, the book stood on it’s own, except for small details, that seemed plucked from other vampire books or movies.
