I agree with Sarah. This is not a huge book by any means, but it was very harrowing, and yes, very sad. Very difficult to finish, only because I don’t think I wanted to know what other ‘bad’ things were happening in China, especially to the women.It was certainly an eye opener, and to think all this happened not that long ago
