The last time read this book it was for a class called “Religion in Contemporary Culture”. I took the class for the sole reason that I got to read American Gods and write essays about it and be tested on it and discuss it in a group of people.

I was rather disappointed that only a handful of people shared my zealous interest in this book.

It was the eigth or ninth time I’ve read it.
