I’ve never much cared for short stories, but since I now live near one of F Scott Fitzgerald’s residences and there’s a whole section on his works in our public library (St Paul, Minnesota), I thought this book would be an easy introduction. I was pleasantly surprised – most of the stories were delightful. I went out and bought several other of his books after reading this one, and they’ve all read fairly similarly. If you like this, you’ll probably like his other works. If you need an introduction to F Scott Fitzgerald, this is a good place to start.
