a timely and rather chaste novel describing life in a research lab setting in Cambridge, MA and a dilemma of interpersonal and scientific ethics….nice depictions of relations between and among members of the lab ecosystem (profs, postdocs, techs, even mice) and lots of name-checking of places in & around Harvard Square.
