I have always loved this movie since I was a little girl; My mom is a true fan of Sidney Poitier, so we fell in line liking his movies and all; But this one brought a question to every American: what if my daughter(or son)brought home someone that he intends to marry home? ok, no problem; but what if it’s someone of another color or race? Hmm; Of course, Tracey(last movie role) and Hepburn give great performances as well as Poitier and the young lady, but this movie also makes you think almost forty years since the film was first made; how would I feel? what I most like about this film is that it makes you think long after it’s over; Stanley Kramer directed it and gave a stellar film that still rings true today;
