A story about this — 7 years ago
Oh dear. I was so hoping all of the reviews were wrong, but they weren’t. This book is just boring and overly detailed. Almost nothing happens. I tried to really read everything so I could keep up with the story, but there are so many times you can read endless strategy and battle details (as well as wardrobe details). Oh well.

I agree 100%!!!
I’m starting to really hate these books. 900 pages of detail but nothing much happening, and then in the last few pages he throws in some wild twists!!!! There are so many characters and locations, many with very similar names, that its almost impossible to keep everything straight. Many previously main characters are just dropped for entire books! I guess its a good money factory, just keep spewing out books without ever resolving any plot lines keeps selling books and keeps making money.
I really hate these books, but I’ve already bought #11, just in the faint hope that some small part of this story will finally get resolved.
