It’s a big nostalgia thing for me. I remember being allowed to stay up and watch it when I was a kid, but seeing it now reminds me about how much I loved it.

OK – the sets and costumes are rubbish. And it really does show its age. And practically everyone speaks in RP, except for Vila, but then, he’s a bit of a comedy object. But otherwise, it’s scripted well and well acted. definitely worth watching. Just don’t expect amazing special effects! It looks like they had a budget of about £50 for the whole series!
