A question I have about this — 3 years ago
WORTH CONSUMING!
Why do they call “White Zinfandel” wine “white” – when it is clearlypink?

I’ve always wondered that myself too.

Why they call it white instead of pink
It turns out White Zinfandel is produced from red Zinfandel grapes. Normally, the wine would be red.
However, the process that makes White Zinfandel from these grapes makes the wine have a pink color, instead of the normal red.
This is all according to Wikipedia. Someone yell if it is wrong.
