Well it was like every other Hollywood production, you could have guessed that. BUT Zooey Deschanel in the role of the pessimistic roommate SAVED the movie. I mean, she took ALL the attention.
Well, at least from me. Oh damned, I’ve already seen her in Almost Famous and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, but now I finally realised who she is. What she is.

She's Also in Elf
In case you like her well enough to want to see another of her films. I really liked “Elf.” It’s silly, but there are some moments I thought were really funny.
