I can’t decide if this is worth consuming or not. I generally like Saramago’s work, but this one just didn’t pull me in. I ended up skimming through most of the middle. I didn’t get interested again until the last few chapters.

I’m only about half way through (yes, I know you gave it to me in November…) but it is already so much better than Balthsar and Blimunda, or whatever that book is called…
I like it second best of his books that I’ve read. so far, anyway.
