WORTH CONSUMING!

The aeropress is a convenient way to make extremely smooth espresso. The Aeropress was the first coffee hardware that made me put my Bialetti Moka Express on the shelf.

How's the clean-up

This looks like a cool system. But how is it to clean? And do you grind your own beans?

I’ve been sold on the Illy system because of how simple it is (fresh prepackaged coffee, little pod, one button machine, no mess) but this looks like a less expensive approach.

Clean up is fairly simple...

Clean up is fairly simple since it breaks down into 3 major parts. I’ve been using mine for around 2 months and the coffee hasn’t stained or discolored any of the parts. It comes with a stack of small circular filters than can be disposed or reused several time. I tend to reuse the filters by washing them off and letting them dry until the use.

Yes, I do grind my own beans. Since it has a paper filter I can grind them extremely fine and not have any coffee grounds leak through.
