Why I recommend this — 3 years ago
There is something about this story that has gripped me from the very beginning. Once again Moning manages to captivate and titillate from the very first page. Drustan is the dreamy MacKelter Highland laird, holder of the secrets of the Druids, and lost in a sleep enchantment that was unwittingly broken by Gwen, a scientist who was in Scotland trying to shake up her blase life.
She helps him, saves him from a fate worse than death, travels back and forth through time, and in the end realises that love is the greatest gift of all. This is the foundation book for the MacKelter legacy, so if you love any of the others, Immortal, Dark, Touch and the soon to be released yet unknown title, then I recommend this as your starting point.
I give it 5 stars, have read it over and over and over and over and over again. The story never ceases to enchant me.
