So awkward and just as amusingly un-comfortable as Curb! Alan is a moronic social retard who hosts a mid-90’s Brit chat show with guests so insipid he can hardly contain himself during his interviews.
The “Knowing Me, Knowing You” title refers to his personal obsession with Abba.

The follow-up “I’m Alan Partridge” is great as well. It’s a fly-on-the-wall following Alan as he tries to salvage his career.
The character started as a sports presenter on “The Day Today” which is also hilarious.

Thanks! I was kind of in the dark about how his character got started and if it was supposed to be the same guy from the chat show in KMKYWAP (aha!)
I need to see if both of the other 2 shows are available on DVD.
