Ever since I read Ship of Fools by Richard Paul Russo I have read everything he has written and have always enjoyed his books. He did not dissapoint me with this selection of stories about Carlucci.

The time period is somewhere in the near future. The world is more populated and rougher than today’s world. Russo does not explain everything about his world so I felt like a visitor to a new place. I enjoyed that feeling. Russo does not always solve every problem in his stories nor does he give everyone a happy ending. The stories are real and the characters are very believable.
