WORTH CONSUMING!
I have shied away from economics all of my life. I am not ashamed to say that I relaized that economics is not all Math and figures after reading this book. Something that had me go “hmmm” was the whole “incentive” idea. The fact that people behave the way they do because if the implicit incentives in behaving that way.
A good book on analyzing human behaviour using data. I should say that I agree with Maggie here that the common theme seemed to me the “Oh, you know what? You are wrong!” thing throughout the book. Especially the excerpts from the NY Times that glorify Levitt.

Economics Wiz I'm Not
Yeah, I’m no expert at economics either. In fact, I’m waiting for someone to ask me what book I’m reading, so I can say it’s about the Economics on everything. I can imagine the puzzled looks on their faces, wondering what kind of person I am for reading this. It never occured to me before, only because the subject matter never crossed my path, but sometimes I can’t believe I’m reading an economics book either, which is why I can’t imagine anyone else believing me either. If it weren’t an economics book, I’d assume it’s a philosophy book. Still a good read though.
