WORTH CONSUMING!
Damn, this is a fabulous book! I absolutely adored this story, it completely sucked me in, and I must admit, a little unwillinginly as the first chapter didn’t really grab me. But this is a subtle story. Stick with it, and prepare to be amazed!

Wow. I wish I’d read your comment before giving up on the book, because I gave up largely on the strength of the weakness of the first chapter. I found it not only didn’t grab me, but actively repelled me. Huh. Maybe if ever I’m low on books, I’ll pick it up again. Maybe.
