I haven’t read any of the HP books and only went to the movie because friends wanted to.

What a boring load of crap. It’s not even a full story: it starts of with a competition, then the ultimate bad guy (apparently, I thought he was rather naff) shows up, there is a minor showdown but noone really got hurt (a side character died, big deal) and then the credits roll. WTF?

Everyone was rather disappointed. It was a long movie but didn’t really start or finish. All in all I’d give it a miss.
