WORTH CONSUMING!
A teen comedy with intelligence, this satire about fundamentalist Christians also manages to delve a little more deeply and make them well-rounded enough so that you care about them.

I felt the opposite
I’m all too ready to laugh at myself (I’m an evangelical) and occasionally saw moments of worth here (the line about “The Bible was never meant to be used as a weapon” after Mandy Moore LITERALLY threw it was great) but I know of no Christian girl who would sleep with a boy to “save” them from being gay so the basic premise is already tragically flawed.
The Christian subculture deserves the slings and arrows it gets but only occasionally did this flick deliver.
ShipOfFools.com does a much better job of parodying the oddities of fundamentalism. So did Steve Martin’s LEAP OF FAITH.
